Issaquah

Issaquah is a thriving community for families and individuals, with quick access on I-90 to Seattle and Bellevue. Issaquah, Washington is located east of Seattle in Washington State, just to the south of Lake Sammamish. The city has a vibrant downtown with great nightlife and special events throughout the year. Among the highlights:

• Downtown Events: Issaquah hosts special seasonal events in the downtown area nearly every month. They include a Wine & Art Walk in spring, Fenders on Front Street on Father’s Day, Gas Station Blues weekly during the summer, and Salmon Days and a Zombie Walk in the fall.
• Issaquah Farmers Market: The Farmers Market at Pickering Barn has been a weekly event for years, running every Saturday from May until September. The market offers a wide variety of fresh and local produce, along with specialty items, wine, cheese and more.
• Outdoor Adventures: Adventure awaits at Cougar Mountain Wildland Park, set on 3000 acres of protected wildlands including a zoo. The park includes over 35 miles of trails connecting forests, wetlands, streams and caves. If you can’t get enough in Cougar Mountain, right next door are Squak Mountain State Park, with another 2000 acres of beautiful Northwest outdoor space, and Tiger Mountain State Forest, with nearly 14,000 additional acres – including hang gliding at Poo Poo Point.

Issaquah includes the neighborhoods of Cougar Mountain, Downtown Issaquah, Issaquah Highlands, Issaquah Valley, Montreux, Providence Point, South Cove, Squak Mountain and Talus, and the nearby area of Preston.
